The California Fair Political Practices Commission requires we collect your physical mailing address (not a P.O. Box), occupation, and employer for proper campaign finance reporting. Beginning August 21, 2020, the California FPPC also requires any campaign or committee which receives a contribution from a business must collect the name of the business, business type (e.g. LLC, LLP, S Corp, sole proprietor, etc.), and the name of the company's Responsible Officer. If this contribution would cause the total contributions given to this committee to exceed $250, the contributor affirms that they are not currently a party, participant, or a party or participant’s agent with a proceeding involving a license, permit, or other entitlement for use either pending before the candidate’s agency or has received a final decision from the agency in the last 12 months. If at a later date the donor meets the above requirement, they agree to notify the candidate, as required by law.
